The Princess of Wales visited Evelina London Children’s Hospital, meeting young patients, families and medical staff at the hospital’s new cardiac unit.
Kate heard about treatment and recovery at the specialist children’s hospital, as well as plans to expand Evelina’s services and develop a future children’s cancer centre in London.
During the visit, the princess met three-year-old Arjun, who is preparing to go home after months of treatment for a rare pulmonary vein condition, and spoke with other families about their experiences at the hospital.
